My Latest Talk at Yale…

I was delighted to speak last night at Yale on transsexuality in Islamic law, theatre, and film in the Islamic Republic of Iran. I was delighted that folks came out to it despite the rain, and especially grateful for the positive feedback from Iranians who attended (including those with trans family members back home in Iran). I enjoyed the stimulating discussion it provoked and am looking forward to sharing the paper in print soon (in a leading journal–stay tuned!).
