Light a Candle…

Over the years, I’ve encouraged my family and friends to make online donations to support the cancer treatment of children in Lebanon–since one of the greatest joys I’ve experienced in Beirut has been volunteering at the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon. Now there’s an app for that. On Friday, The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon launched a new campaign to enable donations to be made directly from smartphones. The new app “Light a Candle” will allow users to donate $1, $5, $10 or $20.
