Participants will explore the rich world of Tibetan Buddhist sacred art as an expression of enlightened energy through a lively discussion of paintings, sculpture, and textiles in the Rubin Museum collection. The class will provide opportunities to reflect on the symbolism and ritual function of these sacred artifacts as well as their relevance to contemporary life. No experience necessary.
