Ramadan Mubarak to all of those observing Ramadan around the world! While it’s a joy to be in the Sultanate of Oman for Ramadan, I can’t help but miss serving up Ramadan dinners every night in Beirut to hundreds of Syrian refugees with the Lebanese Red Cross and Makhzoumi Foundation as I’ve done the past three years. Even though I won’t be able to serve in the same way this year, I’ll still be keeping beloved Syria and all the Syrian refugees — young and old, abled and disabled — in my heart all month long…
